Catalogues of the "Große Deutsche Kunstausstellung"
In cooperation between the Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte, Munich (ZI), the Monacensia - Münchner Stadtbibliothek, and the Kunstbibliothek der Staatlichen Museen zu Berlin (Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz), the catalogues are made available to researchers in anticipation of a larger project: In the framework of the projected platform GDK-ONLINE a unique stock of the Photo Study Collection (Photothek) of the ZI, namely the exhibition management’s own documentation, is being digitized. GDK-ONLINE will include archival information, biographical data, and art historical subject indexing. The platform will offer the opportunity to document various scattered holdings. Finally, the aim of this future image and research database is to provide an efficient instrument for research on the art of the national socialist regime.
