Portraits of artists until 1900
The Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte (Central Institute for Art History) in Munich, together with the Heidelberg University Library, makes portraits of artists available in portrait series up to 1900.
You can use the search mask to search the portrait series, filter the search results thematically and call up detailed information on the individual portraits. The database is still under construction.
