Alle diese Staaten haben in der Hauptsache ihr Marktgebiet vorgeführt, d. h. mehr den Inseratenteil in den Zeitungen propagiert als die Zeitungen überhaupt. Aus stellungstechnisch befinden sich darunter sehr interessante Objekte. Eines der interessantesten Ausstellungsobjekte überhaupt ist die Ausstel lung der Sowjet-Republik, deren Gesamtgestal tung in den Händen des bekannten russischen Künstlers Prof. L. Lissitzki war. Eine weitere glänzend gelungene Ausstellungsgruppe ist die Ausstellung „Europäische Buchkunst der Ge genwart“, veranstaltet vom Verein Deutscher Buchkünstler. Ausstellungsleiter ist Prof. Hugo Steiner-Prag, Leipzig, der Organisator und Prä sident der Internationalen Buchkunstausstel lung im vergangenen Jahre in Leipzig. Die Aus stellung ist eingeteilt in die Gruppen: Typo graphie, Das schöne billige Buch, Verlagsein- bände, Handeinbände, Schreibkunst, Illustra tion, Buchgraphik, Pressedrucke, Bibliothek eines Bücherfreundes, Werke Deutscher Ver leger. The exhibition is devided into the groups: typogra- phy, the eheap and beautiful book, publishers’ book covers, hand-made book bindings, the art of lettering, illustration, book illustration, tlie work of various presses, the library of a book- lover, works of German publishers. Naturally all the other leagues which are connected with the press and the art of printing are represented at the Pressa by exhibits. Finally attention must be called to the group of exhibits under the title “Das werbewirksame Inserat“ (the effective advertisement). Professor Dr. Rudolf Seyffert of Cologne is the organiser of this division.
