Um den Hauptteil der großen Ausstellung gruppiert sich, wie schon erwähnt, eine ganze Reihe Son der-Ausstellungen. Die erste dieser Sonder- Ausstellungen ist die Ausstellung der Reichs regierung und der Reichsverwaltung. Leiter dieser Ausstellung ist Ministerialrat Dr. Kai senberg vom Reichsministerium des Innern. Er selbst charakterisiert im Hauptkatalog seine Ausstel lung folgendermaßen: „Die Geschichte des Reichs und des Reichsgedankens ist mit der Presse aufs engste ver bunden. Die geistige und wirtschaftlich-technische Ent wicklung des Pressewesens wird erst im Zusammenhang mit der Reichsgeschichte ver ständlich. Daher wird am Anfang der Ausstellung der Reichsregierung historisches Material gezeigt. Das Reichs archiv gibt hier in Urkunden von 1815 bis 1925 einen Über blick über die Entwicklung des deutschen Verfassungs gedankens und des amtlichen Anzeigenwesens des Reichs mit seinen staatsrechtlichen Grundlagen“. Anschließend an die Reichsausstellung folgt die Ausstellung der Preuß. Regierung. Diese gliedert DURCHBLICK DURCH DAS STAATENHAUS VIEW THROUGH IIOUSE OF NATIONS the National Ministry of the Inferior. He him- self characterises bis exhibition as follows in the rnain catalogue: “The history of the nation and the idea of the nation is connected most intimately with the press. The intellectual and economic-technical development of the Press becomes comprehensible only in con- nection with the history of the nation. This is why historical material is on show at the en- trance. The National, or Reichs Archive here shows documents from 1815 to 1925, wliich give a survey of the development of the idea of the German Consti tution and the official adver- tising of the Reich with its foundation in national law“. Next to this National or Reichs exhibition comes the exhi bition instituted by the Prus- sian Government. This is di- vided into two groups “State and Press in the past“ and “State and press at the pre- sent-day“. The general his torical portion is under Con trol of Dr.W. Mommsen of Göttingen, the division “The Press and the Censor“ is in the hands of Prof. Dr. H ouben of Berlin.
