Specialist Literature on Jugendstil
In collaboration with the Institut Mathildenhöhe, Städtische Kunstsammlung Darmstadt exhibition catalogues of the artists‘ colony and the Darmstadt municipal museum as well as publications by individual members of the artists‘ colony – such as Peter Behrens and Joseph Maria Olbrich – from the collections of the Institut Mathildenhöhe and Heidelberg University Library will be digitized and put online. Records comprise publications dating from the time of the foundation of the artists’ colony in 1899 until after the Second World War.
The collection is recorded on our local online catalogue HEIDI, SWB (Union Catalog of the South West German Library Consortium) and ArtDicovery- Research gateway to art literature.
