With the establishment of the museums of applied arts, often founded as an extension of already existing schools of applied arts, catalogs of holdings are increasingly appearing. The schools of arts and crafts also usually have their own (teaching material) collections, which are published in corresponding catalogs. In addition, founding, commemorative and anniversary publications on the houses are published, which put the collection or teaching activities in the right light.
