Bibliography Camera Work
The Camera Work Bibliography is being compiled by the team behind the project Camera Work – Inside/Out: Past, Present, and Future of an International Medium of Art and Photography. Its aim is on the one hand to collect the interdisciplinary secondary literature on the journal and its protagonists. On the other hand, the bibliography includes methodical and theoretical research material and thus allows the reconstruction of the project’s unique approach towards Camera Work using the methods of the Digital Humanities.
As part of the programme "Specialized Information Services for Art”, financed by the German Research Foundation (DFG), the Camera WorkBibliography is maintained and managed by Heidelberg University Library. The titles proposed by scholars from different disciplines are catalogued and subject indexed in the Southwestern German Library Network (SWB) using normative data from the German Integrated Authority File (GND). The database has been implemented with the open source software VuFind Discovery.
In addition to the common search options and function, the Camera Work Bibliography and Web 2.0 will be providing additional functions.
