recensio.artium aggregates reviews of art historical literature in

Through recensio.artium

  • editors can improve the visibility and findability of their art historical journals,
  • art historians can publish their reviews free of charge online, and
  • scholars can search the full text of – both print and online – reviews of art historical literature in one database.

All reviews on recensio.artium receive citable DOIs (Digital Object Identifiers) and are enriched with metadata on the reviewed text. The open access platform also aims at making reviews more easily accessible through national and international databases.

recensio.artium is part of and is managed by Heidelberg University Library.
