NOORDERLICHT PHOTOFESTIVAL Groningen

Die Website vereint Informationen des jährlich stattfindenden Noorderlicht Photofestivals, der USVA Noorderlicht Photogallery sowie des Noorderlicht Projekt Büros und des Verlages Aurora Borealis. Nach eigenen Angaben handelt es sich um die größte niederländische Website für Photokunst: die Werke von 950 internationalen Photokünstlern sind auf 8000 Webpages zu finden, zudem Infos über die vergangenen Festivals und aktuelle News. Im Photoarchiv namens "Pandoras Box", für das man auch einreichen kann, sind Beispiele aktueller Photokunst gespeichert. Wanderausstellungen werden vorgestellt und können gebucht werden. Zudem gibt es einen Online-Shop der Kataloge und einen Newsletter, für den man sich eintragen kann.

Epson FotoFestival Naarden

In the year 2005 Dutch photography was the focus of the Epson FotoFestival Naarden. The festival presents Made in Holland, a programme in which this new direction is being crystallized: a number of expositions looking back on the past and at the same time connecting it to the present, an exhibition showing Govert de Roos’ refreshing portraits of Dutch celebrities, and a large number of group and solo exhibitions allowing the festival to take the measure of Dutch photography.

FotoFestival Naarden is a biennial collection of expositions and other activities to do with photography. The festival considers it to be her main task to show Dutch photography at its broadest. The characteristic presummer atmosphere in the historic fortified town of Naarden lends the event its specific charm.

FotoFestival Naarden was founded in 1989. With the exception of one part-time employee the FotoFestival is produced exclusively by an assembly of volunteers.
